The Free State Gambling and Liquor Authority, in collaboration with other government departments and South African Breweries (SAB), are involved in awareness campaigns throughout the province to create awareness and educate licensees and the general public regarding;

• Legislative requirements and compliance by prospective and existing licensees,
• Responsible liquor trading, which includes amongst others; not selling to minors, pregnant woman and visibly drunk people,
• Responsible liquor usage as well as responsible gambling; and
• Illegal gambling, the dangers thereof and punitive measures.
